God Loves You and That’s A BIG DEAL!

God Loves You, and that’s a BIG DEAL!  The Bible says that God is Love, but when we think about how we define or use love,  we sometimes may find that it does not match its true definition. I feel that in our society,  love is simplified to just a cliche phrase we use to show we care, but when we look in the Bible, we find that isn’t it at all!

Love is the most ultimate form of sacrifice. the Bible says,

“For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life!” - John 3:16.

Notice the first four words of the verse, “For God so loved” (John 3:16 NIV). Out of God’s Love for us, God sent His One and Only Son Jesus (aka. Love in Human Form) to die for us, so that we can spend eternity with Him.

That doesn't sound like something that should just be celebrated on Easter, God’s love is on display everyday! Everytime you take a breath is a reminder that God Loves You, and has a purpose for you! We have to stop allowing the world to redefine what God has already predestined!

Ephesians 1:11-12 says, “ In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory” (Ephesians 1:11-12, NIV).

God loved the idea of creating you so much, that He decided to also give you The Breath of Life, and a purpose that is uniquely designed just for you. No one else has your purpose. Take a second and sit in that for a while. Your bold, beautiful, and beloved self is one of a kind, and God loved the idea of you so much, that He paid the price for your sins 2000+ years ago, so that you could be saved! Now that is what True Love is!

As I wrap up this blog post, I would just like to encourage all of you to think about what you have allowed yourself to believe Love is. Does it line up with God’s Word? Or have you allowed unrighteous images and experiences to redefine what Love is in your head? For anyone who struggles with letting God’s Love in, let me just remind you that “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear…” (1 John 4:18, NIV).

Stop allowing the things of your past to stop you from living in and with your True Love, Jesus! His Love & Sacrifice for you removes all your sin, makes you clean again, and makes you brand new, if only you would accept Him into your heart! He loves you so much, friend, and that is a BIG DEAL!!!!
