Called To Invest

Last night, I stayed up till about 5 am in the morning watching Tik Toks and scrolling on Instagram. When I finally decided to put my phone down and try to get some rest, I felt God’s conviction reminding me that although I’d been saying that I was going to spend time with Him today since this morning, I hadn’t. So I lay down, (which was already a bad idea) and reached for my Bible,  but before I could even open My Bible, God told me this, He said, “ I have called you to be an investor, that is why it matters how you spend your time, money, and resources.” When you are called to be an investor, that means that you not only must have a teachable spirit in order to learn and discern what God is saying to you. But it also means that God is calling you to invest in yourself, and the lives of others. This means that you’ll need to spend more time with God, and be very near and close to His Voice, so that you can act and invest upon His immediate instruction.

Friend, we are called to be investors, and investing is so much bigger than just monetary resources. Of course, how we choose to spend our monetary resources matters, but bigger than that is knowing that without a proper understanding and knowledge set of each area of life investing, one can always find themselves searching or scrambling in one area. If you invest more in TikTok than in The Word, you may find that your mind feels like a freeway full of various different worldly thoughts, instead of the Peace that comes with dwelling on God’s Promises. How are we currently investing God’s Precious Resources in our lives, and the lives of us around us? One of my goals for us in 2023, is for us to use the time, resources, and skills that we have been given to glorify Him, FULL SEND!!! In doing this, we can begin again to worship God with not just one part of our lives, but all of our lives.

Love you Friend,

Diamond
